Our commitment

Trifecta is two people and this is a small site, which means there is nobody to hide behind if it does not work for you. We want anyone to be able to read it, whatever they are reading it with.

 

The standard we measure against

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1, at Level AA.

 

Where we actually stand

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of it meets the standard and some of it does not yet. We would rather say that than claim otherwise. What we know is still open:

• Some light text on our gray background sections does not yet meet the minimum color contrast.

• Some text sits over photographs and graphics, and we have not yet tested all of it for color contrast.

• We have not yet tested every page end to end with a screen reader.

 

What is in place

This site is built on Wix, which supplies keyboard navigation and screen reader support across its standard components. On top of that:

• Every image has a written description for screen readers.

• Each page has one main heading, and sections are marked with real headings, so a screen reader can move through a page by section.

• The page language is set, so screen readers pronounce the text correctly.

 

If something does not work

Tell us. Email btalbot@trifectaadvantage.com with the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Brian Talbot answers accessibility mail himself. You will get a reply within five business days saying what we are going to do about it and when.

Compatibility

This site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and the screen readers those browsers support. It may not work as well on older browsers.

 

What is outside our control

This statement covers this website. Content hosted by others, including anything you reach by following a link to LinkedIn, is not something we can fix directly. If you hit a barrier there, tell us anyway and we will find another way to get you what you needed.
